I told you yesterday that I had finished my trial sermon. I was wrong. When I read it through I realised that two paragraphs had to go and then I needed to put the information in them somewhere else, which meant I had to re-gig the whole thing.
I have worked on it again this morning and am now pretty confident that it is finshed but who knows.
I do hope that it is good enough. I seem to have sweat blood on it. It sounded better than it looks when I recorded it. But I would say that wouldn't I.
I am now starting to put the service around it. This time the hymns seem to leap off the page at me so that is a good thing. Usually I find hymns difficult and time consuming.
Luckily I do have time on my side if not brains!
